Sandra took me to Silver
Falls State Park in Silverton, Oregon for my birthday in May,
2004. She packed a wonderful picnic lunch, with
baguettes, cheeses, strawberries and cream, dessert, and of
course, a bottle of wine. We found a wonderful little
picnic spot right alongside the creek, and enjoyed a peaceful,
relaxing lunch.
After lunch, and
reading the Sunday paper, we packed up and went for a walk to
check out 177-foot South Falls, the tallest waterfall out of ten
in Silver Falls State Park. We weren't dressed for hiking,
and the weather wasn't the best, so we didn't hike to any of the
other waterfalls. Maybe next time.
We had a wonderful
time, just relaxing and having a little couples time. What
a great birthday! Thank you, Sandra! You can click
