Experience
December 18, 2001
We rolled out of bed at 5:00AM,
racing to catch the ferry to Lanai at 6:45AM. We sped up the
coastline, getting st uck
behind some SLOW cars, and nearly missed the ferry. We left the
Jeep in a No Parking Zone, hoping it wouldn't be towed, but there was
no parking, and the ferry was leaving! Visit our Lanai site to

When we arrived back in Lahaina that
evening, we were drenched from the ferry ride, but we decided to head
into Kobe's Japanese Grill for dinner, where they greeted us with
flames and amazing cutlery skills with a sense of humor. The
food was outstanding as well. We headed into the dive shop next
door to look for new fins for me, as our dive off Lanai was tomorrow.
After seeing the prices, I decided to call B&B first, and they had
found my fin! We motored back to Kihei and picked it up, and got
rested up for tomorrows dive.
